Moon Fork: The secret of the silver fork

It's been a year since that strange Halloween night when the friends visited House under the Moon for the last time. They still kept their little silver stars and often wondered what happened to the fork they saw next to the Moon Spoon.

That year they decided to visit the old house again.

When they arrived, the Moon was already high in the sky, and an unusual golden and silver light was pouring through the windows.

The door opened before they could knock.

The famous Moon Table was waiting for them in the big room. There were no silver bowls or little stars on it.

This time, there was an unusual fork in the middle of the table.

It was made of shiny silver, and on its handle there were small decorations in the shape of the Moon, Stars and flowers.

"It's her," one child whispered. "The fork we saw last year."

Suddenly there was a familiar jingling.

Moon Spoon appeared on the table and gently touched the silver fork.

Kling!

At that moment, the room was filled with light, and a cheerful voice was heard from the fireplace:

“Welcome. Time to meet the new keeper of Moon's Kitchen secrets.”

A small ghost suddenly appeared from behind the curtain.

“This is Moon Fork”, he said. “While Moon Spoon reveals the dreams and magic hidden in every bite, Moon Fork knows how to find the special tastes that nature keeps for us.”

The children approached the table curiously.

"And what is she doing?" asked one of them.

The ghost smiled.

"She knows the secrets of plants, spices and flowers. She knows which plants smell like fresh spring rain, which spices remind of warm winter evenings and which flowers can turn an ordinary day into something special."

Then a small green box appeared on the table.

When they opened it, they found three small packages inside.

In the first there were fragrant plants.

"They bring strength and remind us to take care of our body," the ghost explained.

In the second there were colorful spices.

"They bring scents that awaken the imagination and inspire us to discover new tastes."

In the third were dried flowers of various colors.

"And they remind us of the joy, beauty and little magic that surrounds us."

The children carefully smelled each packet.

Mint reminded them of a summer garden, cinnamon of holiday cakes, and rose petals of grandma's garden.

Suddenly, Moon Fork began to glow.

Her silver teeth pointed towards the large door behind the kitchen.

The door that they hadn't even noticed before slowly opened.

Behind them lay a beautiful moonlit garden.

It was a place full of unusual plants, fragrant spices and flowers that sparkled like little stars.

"Welcome to the Moon Garden," the ghost whispered.

The children stopped at the threshold.

"Does this all grow here?" asked one child.

“Yes,” the ghost replied. “And every plant, every spice, and every flower has its own story. Moon Fork will help you get to know them.”

One child noticed that new silver words were appearing on the fork:

“Nature is full of little wonders. Get to know them, smell them, and discover their flavors.”

Moon Spoon and Moon Fork glowed at the same time.

The little ghost smiled.

“Now you know that the magic of Moon’s Kitchen doesn’t just live in dreams. It also hides in nature, in scents, flavors, and everything we use every day.”

When they returned home that evening, each child received a small packet filled with fragrant petals.

On the packet, it read:

“The first secret of the Moon Garden.”

And beneath that was a signature:

Moon Fork.

From that moment on, they knew that many more undiscovered secrets awaited them in the old house.

For Moon Spoon was only the beginning, and now, a new guardian of the magic had arrived.
