Moon Spoon: A magical feast under the moonlight

🌕 That Halloween night, the Moon shone high above the old house. Its light broke through the thick fog and cast silver shadows on the street.

The same group of friends stood again at the door of House under the Moon.

They already knew that the house was not quite ordinary.

But they didn't know that a new secret was waiting for them that night.

🚪 As soon as they opened the door, a soft rattle was heard.

Kling...kling...kling...

The sound was coming from a large room.

There, the Moon Table was waiting for them.

The Moon Spoon stood in the middle of the table, illuminated by the moonlight.

Beside her were small silver bowls.

Each bowl had a name written on it.

"This must be some new spell," one child whispered.

🥄 Then Moon Spoon got up from the table by herself.

She flew slowly over the bowls, as if choosing which one to start with.

Then she stopped above the first one.

A gentle silver light began to shine from it.

"Anyone who tastes the Moon Spoon will see what their heart loves to dream about," said a familiar voice.

A small ghost appeared by the fireplace.

"But remember," he added, "you can't choose what you see."

The children looked at each other.

Of course now everyone wants to try it.

One by one, they took a teaspoon.

✨ The moment the last child tasted his bite, the room disappeared.

Shimmering images appeared around them, as if someone had opened the door of their dreams.

One child saw himself flying above the clouds on a huge silver star.

Another saw a magical castle with tall towers and flags fluttering in the moonlight.

The third saw a little dragon sitting next to him and trying to learn to speak.

And the fourth saw a huge kitchen where cakes came out of the oven by themselves, cups bounced on the table, and little cookies danced to the music.

Everyone burst out laughing.

But then something unusual happened.

🌙 The pictures have started to change.

They no longer depicted their dreams.

Now they were showing something that no child expected.

They saw themselves sitting at the same table, but many years later.

Moon Spoon was back on the table.

And behind it stood the same house.

"How is that possible?" he asked.

The little ghost just smiled.

"Moon Spoon doesn't show the future. It shows that some stories never really end."

🥄 Then Moon Spoon landed on the table.

Silver words appeared on its handle:

"Every dream leaves a mark."

The children carefully looked around.

A small silver star now stood where their bowls had been a moment ago.

Everyone got one.

"Why?" he asked.

"To remind you of this night," answered the ghost.

When they left the house, the fog slowly cleared.

The Moon was still shining, but the house looked completely ordinary.

The children headed home, wearing their silver stars.

And then it was heard from the house:

Kling...kling...kling...

They turned again.

The Moon Spoon was standing in the window.

This time she was not alone.

Beside her was a small silver fork.

The children looked at each other, but no one said anything.

The Moon Spoon glowed once more, and the window slowly closed.

🌛 That night, as they drifted off to sleep, each of them dreamed the same dream.

The old house under the moonlight.

Silver table.

Moon Spoon.

And a small fork that was waiting its turn.
